How can I prepare myself to do breakdance moves? ie arms, legs, etc?
March 4th, 2010 | by admin |No camps, nor dance classes. I won’t spend a single cent on those. I’ve been looking at youtube videos like these and sure would like to get some breakdancing done.

Just tell me it here please thank you and I’d appreciate it if you put in a couple of great websites!!
Just start practicing a Toprock which every Bboy usually do to start a set. Then do simple freezes [Chairs, BabyFreeze, Handstand, Headstand]. Then work on your footwork. Thats just basically Breaking already.
Hope That Helps.

It depends on the types of moves you’re trying to do, but usually doing push ups will help you get your strength up and also leg lifts are a good idea. Also when you’re attempting these moves just go all out and try your best. Real break dancing doesn’t happen if you do it halfheartedly. For some cool break dance moves i would search youtube for the cockroach, the worm, balances, and the k stand. Those moves are my favorites.
Good luck! : )

Well, basic strength exercises will do wonders, push ups and squats but since you’re a girl, you won’t need so much because you weigh less than a guy would
But what’s really important is that you do plenty of ab workouts because having a strong core is ideal while performing moves.
If you can do a handstand or a flip, you don’t really have a long way to go.
Also ask a group of breakers to show you some pointers.
(make sure they’re good)
